Randy will having a show at Regis University in Denver, CO. This show will feature his new body of work titled “A Pilgrim’s Journey – Camino de Santiago”. The show will feature both paintings and monoprints. Also keep an eye out for an article on the show in February’s issue of Southwest Art.

Randy will be featured in the “Taos Americanos” – a month long show in Taos, NM in the Old Jail House Gallery.
Randy was commissioned to design the Shriver Wright Memorial at the Shriver Wright State Wildlife Area in Monte Vista, CO.
Randy went to Spain and walked the Camino de Santiago. From this trip Randy plans to build a new body of work depicting northern Spain.
Randy was selected to participate in an artist in residnecy program at The Great Sand Dunes National Park. Randy spent two week at the park painting and creating prints.
Through The Community Partnerships office at Adams State University, Randy helped with a project called Art Behind Bars. He would go to the jail in Alamosa, CO and give art lessons to the inmates.
Randy designed the Civil War in the west exhibit at the Fort Garland Museum in Fort Garland, CO. He also painted two large murals that are part of the permanent exhibit.
Randy won The Western Heritage Book Award for Outstanding Juvenile Book for his illustrations in Emerita Romero Anderson’s book “Milagro of the Spanish Bean Pot”.
